KYC (Know Your Customer) is a process used to verify the identity of customers to prevent fraud and illegal activities. It involves checking personal documents like IDs and proof of address. KYC is crucial for compliance with regulations, especially in financial and online industries.
Our KYC (Know Your Customer) system consists of three verification levels:
Level 1: Basic Information At this stage, you'll be asked to provide essential details, including your name, date of birth, address, and phone number.
Level 2: Identity Verification To verify your identity, you'll need to submit a legal document, such as a government-issued ID card, passport, or driver's license.
Level 3: Proof of Funds and Address In this final stage, you will be required to provide documentation proving your financial status and address. This could include a bank statement, tax report, and proof of residence.
Follow the steps below to complete the KYC process for your account.
Step 1.
To begin verifying your account, navigate to your profile settings by clicking on your username in the top-right corner of the page.
Step 2.
In the "Verify Information" section, select "Level 1" to begin the verification process.
It’s crucial to provide accurate information at this stage, as it must match the details on the ID you'll submit in Level 2.
Any discrepancies in the data may lead to your KYC being rejected.
Step 3.
If you are from the USA, select "United States of America" and carefully read the statement you are agreeing to. If you are from any other country, choose "All countries except USA."
Step 4.
Provide the following information: full name, date of birth, country, city, address, postal code, gender, and phone number. Once completed, click "Continue."
Step 5.
Verify your phone number by requesting a verification code, which will be sent to you via SMS. Once you receive the code, enter it to complete the verification process.
After successfully verifying your phone number, your KYC Level 1 process will be complete.
Congratulations! You have successfully completed your Level 1 verification. You can now proceed to KYC Level 2 by providing a form of identification that matches the information you submitted.
